Inauguration of the Distribution center in Château-Gontier

The brand-new 4000m2 distribution center was inaugurated on June 14, 2023. in the presence of Mrs. Hélène Moreau-Leroy, CEO of the Hutchinson Group, and Mr. Philippe Henry, Mayor of Château-Gontier. It aims to better meet customer requirements thanks to state-of-the-art industrial equipment, and is part of the Group’s Factory 4.0 project:

• Improved service quality and customized packaging for customers
• Automation and robotization of warehouse and order-picking stations
• Optimization of flows, made possible by the implementation of WMS software developed specifically for this project
• Improved working conditions for employees

The building has been designed to contribute to the Group’s carbon neutrality objectives, with 2,600 m² of photovoltaic panels and a rainwater recovery system, making it a positive energy building (BEPOS).
