A new biodiversity area on the Hutchinson site in Château-Gontier

A new biodiversity area has been created on the HUTCHINSON site in Château-Gontier. The local HSE teams have joined forces with the Mayenne Nature Environnement association to carry out this project to preserve the local flora and fauna.

The biodiversity area is composed of a hedgerow and fruit trees including many varieties, such as hazelnut trees, lime trees, maples, burgundy, hornbeam, hawthorns, saskatoons and vines. The site has also opted for late mowing to give nature time to develop refuge areas for small animals and pollinating insects.

In addition to enjoying the green space and the fruit, eco-responsible workshops will soon be offered to employees!
